Scentwork is any activity where we teach our dogs how to use their noses to find a specific smell (also known as a target odour). In the same way that Police train detection dogs to search for drugs, money or explosive - we teach our pet dogs using the same methods BUT we look for more legal substances!

In this 8 week program we teach our dogs how to search for a target odour (normally Gun Oil, Clove or Truffle Oil) and how to let us know when they have located it.

We will be teaching our dogs a 'Passive Indication', which means that when the dogs locate the source of the odour they will "freeze" to let us know exactly where it is.
